Well, I tried my hand cream today... sounds strange, I know, but my hands hadn't hurt since I originally made the stuff, so I didn't bother trying it. It's kind of greasy; I think I'll have to find a new recipe. It made my hands feel nice and moisturized, but I had to wipe my hands on a napkin several minutes after using the hand cream to get the excess goop off my hands.

Work is being pretty stressful again. No word on my proposal -- which is what my continued employment at Verio hinges on (my choice -- I'm in a deadend position, and the proposal is for a new department). I need to give an answer on the job offer for the school-district UNIX admin position tomorrow. So I'm kind of chewing my nails here... I wish Verio would either say yes or no so I could make a decision. Of course, that's the problem with Verio in general... sigh. :( I got into an argument this morning with a customer who kept arguing with me and I finally had to snap and say something like "Well, we're Verio now and this is how it is, that's how it is after the acquisition." I'd like to be able to say something nice about Verio, but they really don't deserve any nice comments. Maybe in a few years they'll have everything rolled up and cohesive, but for now, it's like working in a cement mixer...you keep getting tossed in different directions! I'm glad I'm in a career where I can immediately step into another good job, but I wish Verio hadn't put me here, nonetheless. Argh. Oh well, enough whining about work...
