Welp. Didn't do much today. Went to the dentist for my semi-annual cleaning (ow). Went out to dinner with Steve -- went to a greek place called Pegasus in greektown. Not as good as Parthenon, but OK. Stopped by the Butera on the way home to buy some more oils -- two 3-liter tins of 100% olive at $10.99 each and one 3-liter bottle of soybean (Crisco 100% Vegetable) at $6.99. Went home and cleaned up a little bit... moved my pretty-molded citrus soaps up onto the drying shelves and dumped the pyrex-molded soap out to dry another day before I cut it up. I sure hope the scent doesn't fade away, although I suppose it probably will, since I didn't use any citrus peel or lemongrass or any other herbal anchors. I did use some sandalwood FO as the base so maybe that will help. Well, if all else fails I can just wrap the cured soaps up in a big bag with scented cotton balls :)

Oh, and while I was at work I finally placed an order with Majestic Mountain Sage. Ordered a bunch of goodies. For packaging, I bought 4 each of: lip balm tubes (.15 oz. each), lip balm pots (.25 oz each), and cream jars (2 oz. each). Then I got 8 ounces of e-wax (to try to make an actual cream out of the CTS massage oil, instead of just massaging oil on my hands -- an oily keyboard is high on my list of priorities to NOT have :) , 1 lb. of citric acid (I want to try bath bombs), 1 lb. of stearic acid (to make harder bars of soap, which I seem to have difficulty with), a new thermometer to replace the candy thermometer which I dropped (doh), a 100 pack of large transfer pipettes, and a 100 pack of .15cc scoops for colors/micas. My total with shipping -- they're in Utah! I'm so jealous -- came to just under $50, and they'll ship it out tomorrow morning. Woo woo woo. It's going UPS so hopefully it'll come late this week and I can actually be there to accept the package. Woo woo. :)
