I have officially been soaping for a year! Imagine that!

We made chili last night. In the crock pot. The same crock pot that I used about 3 weeks ago to do a rebatch. The chili tasted like Bramble Berry's Lettuce FO. I will be going to a resale shop to acquire a used crock pot soon. Yuck. Lesson learned: Keep thy food and soap crock pots separate.

Made some soap this weekend. One batch is my Citrus Grove soap, the other batch is a new one -- scented with Ocean Breeze FO from Lebermuth with added seaweed and aloe vera gel. Actually, the scent from the seaweed came in and kind of overwhelmed the FO (which was kind of disappointing). Next time I'll use more FO... or less seaweed. But it was kind of a neat effect, with little tiny green bits peeking out, in a pretty mint green soap. I wish I had a digital camera, I'd put a picture up. I guess you know what I want for Christmas. :)

Speaking of things I want...I want an iBook. In Tangerine. I know, I know... but it's cute!! There are not enough cute computers in the world. I spray-painted my 486 maroon and purple a couple years ago... beige sucks. Yeah, it's true... Apple could sell a pocket calculator that didn't even know how to divide, and as long as it was colorful I would want one. Heck, they could sell a colorful pocket protector with an Apple logo on it and I would probably buy one even though I don't wear shirts with pockets. What can I say... I'm a follower.

I'm working on someone's computer here at work. I kid you not, I think the thing is possessed by some evil PPP demon. It worked fine, then I let it sit, and it went all wonky. Restarted, still wonky. Restarted again, wonky. Finally reinstalled the software and it's non-wonky, but I'm letting it sit to see if it goes wonky again. Someone remind me why I chose this industry again. :)

OK, I'm going to run another swap. I'm definitely going to do it. In fact, I'm thinking about running two. The "Aesthetically Challenged Soaps Swap" and the "'Oh Crap!' Saved Soaps Swap." Hehehee...

We're moving into the new house in -- count 'em -- 15 days. Yikes. We've got about 25 boxes of books packed up (and that's not even all of our books -- we ran out of boxes.), but that's it so far. I need to buy boxes for dishes and stuff from the moving company. I should do that this week, so we can spend the weekend packing. Oh boy, I forgot what a delightful experience it is to move. This is going to be an interesting month.
